THANKS BE TO GOD!!

First, THANKS BE TO GOD and His guardian angels for protecting Cole in this horrific car accident. There is no other explanation than His guardian angel for Cole pulled Cole out of that car as it was rolling (Cole was wearing his seat belt), carried him through the air, layed him on the ground and stood there to stop the car from rolling three feet in front of Cole.

Second, THANKS KRISTI, for setting up this blog for Cole. This is our first attempt at blogging so please be patient as we learn. If you are a scrapbooker or know a scrapbooker (who doesn't!) be sure to check out her website: www.myscrapchick.com. I absolutely believe in Divine Appointments and she is one of mine.

Third, thank you to all of you who said a prayer for Cole and are still praying for Cole during his recovery which may take 10-12 weeks and how God will use him in the future. His summer will be spent recovering and not playing baseball or wakeboarding. That's on the agenda for next summer. Hang in there Cole!

Cole is home from the hospital and spending most of his days and nights reclined in the recliner or laying on the sofa sleeper in the basement which has now become his bedroom. Steps are a challenge with crutches especially when you can't lift your leg. Sitting for more than a few minutes is not possible. He has a broken pelvic bone on the left side in two places but he is ALIVE and we are grateful to the good Lord for that.

"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!"

Advice from a very thankful Mom: Teach your kids about Jesus Christ and life eternal in heaven then kiss them everyday and tell them you love them!!
